The Flying Fox (Pteropus) is the largest bat in the world with a wingspan of up to six feet. As the name suggests, the head resembles that of a small fox because of the small ears and large eyes. They are found in Pulau Ubin, one of the islands off mainland Singapore.The picture above is of a Pemba Flying Fox, a species of Pteropus. Information here.
These creatures are amazing, when i was in malaysia they would hang in the fruit trees by the pool, completely harmless and so cute

First Look of the Day: Thirteen years later, Cowboy Bebop director Shinichirō Watanabe is reuniting with Cowboy Bebop composer Yoko Kanno for a brand new anime about “a naive boy and a scruffy boy [who] share a passion for jazz in a provincial town in the late 1960s.”
Based on Yūki Kodama’s same-named manga series, Sakamichi no Apollon is set to air this April on Fuji TV’s anime programming block, Noitamina.
